Stratford Office

Travel Advisor

We are currently looking for a full-time Travel Advisor to join our Stratford office!

As a Travel Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurate completion of international, transborder and domestic travel arrangements. In short, helping make clients travel dreams come true!

These individuals should possess the following skills:

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

  • Must be an exceptional communicator.
  • Motivated, Outgoing and Energetic.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Incredible customer service skills.
  • Good administrative skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and problem-solving.
  • High degree of self-motivation to learn and to take initiative.
  • Knowledge of Apollo, Galileo Vacations and airline/wholesaler websites considered an asset.
  • Computer savvy/ proficient with Microsoft outlook, word, excel, powerpoint etc.

Education and experience

  • Experience working in a retail travel agency considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in travel and tourism considered an asset.
  • TICO Certification considered an asset. If you do not currently have, need to be willing to become TICO certified within 3 months of employment.

 The hours of work are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at our Stratford office location.

Peterborough Office

Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our Peterborough office!

Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and accounting support services to ensure accurate and timely processing of various accounting duties within company policies and procedures.

  • Reconciliation of monthly branch Petty Cash.
  • Processing of monthly corporate VISA payments as assigned and reconciliation of VISA payable accounts to $0 at the end of each month.
  • Weekly credit calls to Vendors to collect commissions receivable. Regular follow-up is via phone, email and fax to ensure the vendor statement is current and correct. Failure to keep on top of the vendors can negatively impact the company’s financial position.
  • Daily processing of accounts payable.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties within the scope of the position.

  • Excel skills must be advanced.
  • Diplomacy and tact in contact with vendors, co-workers and clients.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Good administrative skills and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and problem-solving.
  • High degree of self-motivation to learn and to take initiative.

Education and experience

  • Accounting or accounts payable experience considered an asset.
  • TRAMS back-office proficiency considered an asset.
  • Experience working in an office setting providing administrative support.
  • Post-secondary education from a recognized institution OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at our Peterborough office location.
